“Hybrids” is Leandro Erlich’s exhibition at the historic Negozio Olivetti in St. Mark’s Square, presented as a Collateral Event of the 2026 Venice Biennale. Curated by Marcello Dantas and organized by Associazione Arte Continua, the exhibition brings together nearly twenty sculptures—some of which have never been shown before—that present hybrid forms blending nature, the body, and architecture.
Through these “impossible organisms,” Erlich invites us to consider art as an active force in the creation of the world, in dialogue with natural and evolutionary processes. The project also establishes a connection with the architecture of Carlo Scarpa and is part of a broader reflection on the intersection of art, city, and landscape, inviting us to rethink how artistic forms influence our perception of spaces.
