The exhibition is composed of four new large-format works, made in 8 mm drawn iron, installed on the gallery walls as if they were paintings: paintings in iron. These pieces connect different cycles of Siquier’s trajectory. Their origin lies in the charcoal drawings exhibited at the gallery in 2003. From those designs emerged the sculpture presented at the Centro Cultural Recoleta in 2012, now installed in Parque Thays.
The works presented in this exhibition are, therefore, a return of those designs to the wall, while maintaining iron as the constructive material.
