This exhibition unfolds as a space for contemplation, highlighting one of the most essential and universal conditions of the human being.
Marie Orensanz was first presented at the gallery in 1986, with her exhibition “Fragmentism”. After almost forty years of working together, we continue to honor and promote this artist who invites critical thinking about freedom, justice and incompleteness.
The exhibition opens the program of activities of the fourth edition of NODO, Art Galleries Circuit organized by MERIDIANO, from May 8 to 10, 2025.

What is permanent? What do we leave behind as we pass through this life? Through a set of sensitive and deeply poetic pieces, Orensanz does not seek to answer these questions definitively, but to open them up, to inhabit them, to let them vibrate in the time and space of the exhibition. Fragility is revealed here not as weakness, but as a form of wisdom: a vital principle, a silent philosophy that connects us with the essential.
“We are passing through… we leave something… a trace… it is minimal next to all that we live… fragility gives us an awareness of the ser…. of the passage of time… and at the same time of the importance of the moment… those instants that are a whole….
The wonder of fragility… fragility as a principle of life… fragility as mutual respect… fragility goes beyond words… fragility in the world… fragility as philosophy…” Marie Orensanz.
