An essay in reconstruction, tracing a maternal lineage of female figures who have disappeared, whose work and affinities have been relegated to oblivion or are at risk of being forgotten. These works reinterpret invisibilization as a tactical advantage that enables silent action, in the sound of a murmur, and invoke the feminist right to opacity as a strategy of withdrawal and political strength in the face of the hegemonic gaze.
