How do words meet painting? How do control and the “empowered chaos of the material” coexist within a single work? In this exhibition, Iuso explores that unstable balance between meticulous attention to the text and the unpredictable power of the material. Color, luminosity, scale, and writing come together on surfaces where repetition is never exactly the same: each work takes something familiar and transforms it into something new. We take you on a tour of his studio and share some moments from the process behind the exhibition.
