Over the course of these 60 years, the Ruth Benzacar Gallery has built up an emotional archive: catalogs, records, photographs, and videos that bear witness to a network of connections as enduring as it is vital. Between Ruth, Orly, and Mora—and among artists, works, and audiences—unfolds a story of connections that is also the story of Argentine art. To enter the gallery’s archive is also to enter the lives of these three women. A gallery that began in a house and, through its successive moves, gradually established itself as a familiar space for its artists and its audience.

Directed by Fiord Estudio, Ivo Aichenbaum, and Agustina Pérez Rial, the documentary “Hay tiempo” is an invitation to continue imagining, building, and sharing a community centered on contemporary art.
